How to Play Find The Country

Learn how the daily country guessing game works, how to read color, distance, and direction clues, and how to move from a broad first guess to the country of the day.

1. Make your first guess

Start with any country you know. You can type the full name, a country code, or one of the accepted aliases built into the guess matcher.

2. Read the clue stack

Every guess returns three useful hints: color, distance, and direction. Together they tell you whether you are close, how far you still are, and which way to move on the globe.

3. Use the globe to think spatially

Rotate, zoom, and inspect the map between guesses. The game gets easier when you combine the directional arrow with what you can already see on the globe.

4. Protect your daily streak

The main mode is the daily puzzle. Once you solve it, your result counts toward your streak and statistics. Practice mode gives you extra rounds without touching that daily record.

Guess the country of the day

The daily puzzle is designed for searches like country of the day, daily country game, and guess the country. Each round starts with a blank globe and turns every guess into a clue, so you can move from a broad country guess to the final answer using geography instead of trivia.
