How many guesses do I get?

What do the colors on the globe mean?
Hotter colors mean your guess is close to the target. Cooler or pale colors mean you are farther away.
What does the direction arrow mean?

Does Practice mode change my stats?
No. Practice mode is separated from the daily result so you can warm up without affecting your streak.
Why can't I guess the same country twice?
Repeated guesses are blocked so every submission gives you a new clue and the puzzle stays readable.
